Anche se il tempo non ha dato tregua alle festività maglianesi, che sono rimaste inzuppate dalla pioggia continua dei giorni passati (pioggia che non smetterà di scendere anche nei giorni che vengono - a quanto pare), fa piacere e incuriosisce vedere riportata come notizia Ansa (e in inglese) la descrizione della manifestazione nostrana per il patrono.
Per chi mastica un po' d'inglese, è qui di seguito riportata:(ANSA) - ROMA, 13 MAG - The 'Week of Magliano' will take place from May 7 to 16 in Magliano Sabina, province of Rieti, with many initiatives - food, wine, music and shows - on the programme to honour the patron San Liberatore. Irish Night, the music of Vinz unplugged, the girls of Coyote Ugly, South American dance with the Balla Balla orchestra, the Luca Cardinali band, maestro Ivano Pagani and from the stage of Zelig: comedian Massimo Bagnato. These are some of the scheduled events during the days of celebration, promoted by the ATLazio campaign 'Tutto il Lazio e' Paese' (people are the same in all Lazio). On May 9 there will be a tribute to singer and musician Nicola Arigliano, who died two months ago and who lived in Magliano for almost 40 years. On May 8 a literary aperitif has been planned at Alma Cafe', with the book presentation of 'Tutti morti tranne uno'; next week the Manlio Theatre will host the ceremony in honour of Cardenio Botti, composer and music director from Magliano. On May 15 and 16 the streets of Magliano Sabina will be occupied by the 'Mercatino' with more than 50 stand holders. A Corrida and fireworks in honour of San Liberatore will close the week of festivities.(ANSA).
